How We Paid Off Our 30 Year Mortgage . . .

in 6 Years!

The dream of getting out of debt has been crushed by today's tough economy for many people. Between job losses, medical bills, and rising costs, it feels like the walls are closing in as they stare at a mountain of debt towering over them.

If this is your situation, I'm sure you think that living debt free is impossible and not something you could ever attain. We wanted to let you know that there is hope. Contrary to popular belief, you do have control over the situation . . .  BUT  . . .  it's up to you to determine if you are willing to take the reigns and change your destiny.

Getting out of debt (and staying out of debt) isn't accomplished through lottery tickets or get rich quick schemes. Why? Debt freedom is a lifestyle that results from sound financial decisions, wise choices and the proper attitude towards money.

You don't believe me? Well, we are living proof that this is true.

This year we will be paying our 30 year mortgage off in only six years. It seemed impossible to us as well but looking back we now see how our attitude, decisions and choices made it a reality in our life.

We wanted to share the simple steps that we followed in hopes that they will also help you conquer the mountain of debt that has been holding you back and weighing you down.

About Us

Married in July 2001, we are both in our thirties and live in the West Michigan area. Winters are tough in the Great Lakes region but the beautiful summers make up for it. We cherish the time that we get to spend with family and friends as that is what matters most in life.

We have been growing in our walk with God and learning how to trust Him to supply our needs. Combining this with good practical instruction and wise financial decisions, it has been an exciting journey towards debt freedom.

We know firsthand that debt can be a burden and can bring fear, worry, torment, and sickness. We want to share the simple steps we followed to obtain our goal of debt freedom so that you too can follow the same path.
